David Muir, an American journalist who anchors the ABC News magazine 20, is best known as the co-anchor for World News Tonight With David Muir. One of the most watched newscasts in America is his show featuring dramatic videos and animations. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. He was his predecessor Diane Sawyer's anchor of choice before he took over ABC World News Tonight. In recent years the anchor has been on numerous ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's traveled to numerous nations around the world reporting the latest news. From Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honours and prizes from the Associated Press.
