Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is an American actor. After her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack participant in WarGames '83 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a member of the group. Her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Sheedy is an American actress, and author. Sheedy began her acting career with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, with other actors equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. She appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1985, a comedy drama that followed her initial success. John Hughes' film, written by him, was one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. While the budget for the film was just $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. Additionally, she began appearing in various TV shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. The show was for teenagers that started airing beginning in April 1980. She also appeared on other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her stellar performances including her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
